Title: Research Lab Assistant II
Reports to: Research Scientist I
Direct Reports: None
Key Objective: Conduct various biochemical and blood analysis assays as part of device development team. Assist in the preparation and analysis of stem cells from human adipose tissue.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze specimens on an automated blood counting machine.
- Isolate & analyze stem cells from human fat tissue
- Conduct biochemical assays
- Perform stem cell banking procedure
- Conduct daily lab QC
- Maintain lab supply inventory
Position Requirements:
- Six months to one year of research or clinical lab experience
- Experience in performing biochemical assays, tissue culture work helpful
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access a plus
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail, able to follow policies and procedures
- Flexible working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
