Founded in 1996 in San Diego, California, MacroPore Biosurgery is focused on research, development and commercialization of regenerative medicine technologies. Our bioresorbable and regenerative cell technologies enable us to target two of the largest markets in medicine: spine and orthopedic bone repair and cardiovascular disease.
Our goal is to deliver an autologous, point-of-care cell therapy system for the regeneration and repair of damaged tissues. The intended clinical applications include cardiovascular tissue repair, spinal disc regeneration, bone regeneration, wound healing, and cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
